Day 01: Arrival Hanoi
On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport, reception and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel, the Intercontinental Hanoi West Lake***** in Hanoi.
Day 02: City Tour– Night train to Laocai (Breakfast & Lunch included)
After breakfast depart for an insider's tour of the capital. Long hidden from the international community, Hanoi's cultural scene is thriving. Visit the best galleries, pagodas, cultural sites, markets and other hidden gems with your specialist guide. Enjoy lunch at Cha Ca La Vong. Listed in the travel book '500 places to see before you die' this specialty fish restaurant has been serving the same dish for the past 3 decades. In the evening, you’ll enjoy water puppets show at 5 PM in national theatre of Thanglong followed by delivery to the railway station to catch an overnight deluxe train on Victoria Train***** to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa.
Day 03: Laocai – Sapa (Breakfast & Lunch included)
After breakfast, take a drive to Ban Ho Village, which is home to the Tay minority hilltribe. It is set amongst beautiful rice terraces and commands a great view over the valley. The surrounding area is also home to the Dzao Minority. We then cross the river by a suspension bridge and we are into the minority hilltribe. These are some of the least commercialized ethnic minorities with beautiful traditional costumes. Return to Sapa where we will have lunch before exploring the surrounding by yourself. Overnight at Victoria Hotel & Resort**** in Sapa
Day 04: Sapa – Weekly Coc Ly Market (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Follwong breakfast at hotel. Drive to Cocly to catch the Tuesday market. This lively and colorful market offers visitors a glimpse of the various hill tribe people at their very best! In the afternoon, we drive to Victoria Resort**** . The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at Victoria Hotel & Resort**** in Sapa

Day 05: Sapa – Hilltribe Village (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Take a short trek to Catcat village, a Black Hmong hill tribe village, where you can see a beautiful waterfall. Visit Ta Van village, the only village in Sapa area inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. From Ta Van, a 2 hours easy walk through the terraced rice field will bring you to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. This evening, be transferred to the railway station for your overnight train back to Hanoi. Overnight on Victoria Superior Cabine Express Train*****
Day 06: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc - Hanoi (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Pick up at train station and drive to restaurant for breakfast. Today you will drive through rural districts of northern Vietnam to the site of Vietnam's first capital, Hoa Lu. After visiting the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, take a sampan (a relatively flat bottomed wooden boat) on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Here enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields giving rise to this place's other name, 'Halong on Land'. In the afternoon return to Hanoi. Overnight at Intercontinental Hanoi West Lake ***** .
Day 07: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Breakfast, Lunch & Diner included)
Today you leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board a wonderful classic junk replica, the Paradise Cruise*****. Have lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit 'Sung Sot', one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. After sunset, enjoy dinner before retiring to your cabin for a good night’s sleep.
Day 08: Halong Bay - Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (Breakfast)
For early risers enjoy a Tai Chi class on the sundeck between 6:00am and 7:00am. A wholesome breakfast will be served in the restaurant before cruising back to Halong City. Arrive back at Paradise's private pier at 10:30 for disembarkation and transfer to the airport for the flight to Danang # VN1517 16:35/17:50, a major port city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, on the coast of the South China Sea Arrival and transfer to Hoi An. Accommodation at the luxurious Palm Garden Beach Resort*****, a luxurious, traditional Asian style resort regarded as one of the best new hotels of 2007.
Day 09: Hoi An – Hue (Breakfast & Lunch)
After your breakfast drive to the ancient port town of Hoi An. Despite the passing of 200 years and the ravages of weather and war, the centre of Hoi An remains much the same as it was in its heyday. A walking tour is the best way to see this marvelours town. For lunch sample some of Hoi An's delectable cuisine at Morning Glory, one of the town's finest restaurants. Leave Hoian after lunch and head for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Hue is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the cultural treasures of Indochina. Arrive in Hue late in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel, the La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa*****.
Day 10: Hue (Breakfast, Lunch & Diner included)
Rise for an early breakfast followed by a visit to the city's vibrant Dong Ba Market and then onto The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart for the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum and one of Hue's beautiful garden houses where you will have a private lunch. Your afternoon is free at leisure to enjoy the hotel's facilities (the spa is highly recommended). In the evening take a private sunset cruise on the Perfume River. A superb performance will be served whilst you gaze over some of Vietnam's most iconic sites. Return to your hotel, the La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa*****.
Day 11: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast & Lunch included)
After breakfast, depart for Hue Airport for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City #VN1371 08:50/10:10, still called Saigon by the locals. Take an orientation tour of the city in a classic Citroen car which will include a visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. For lunch try some traditional Saigon fare at 'Com Nieu Sai Gon'. Accommodation at the Caravelle Hotel***** in Saigon.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Today you depart for the Mekong Delta, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind to travel through Vietnam's picturesque countryside with its rice paddies and rural villages. Upon arrival to the Delta board the 'Song Xanh', modelled on a traditional sampan, the boat’s small size allows you to discover the smaller canals and tributaries of this region. You will enjoy a gentle cruise from Cai Be to Sa Dec as part of a leisurely exploration of the Mekong River and its hidden treasures before gliding onto Can Tho. Overnight on board the Song Xanh Sampan Boat*****.
Day 13: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Crossing the Mekong on the way to Cai Be Floating Market, you will take in traditional sights such as rice barges, wooden ship building yards and even fruit drying along the Mekong's banks. After paying a visit to the colourful floating market, check-out and disembark before your return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at hotel Caravelle Hotel***** in Saigon
Day 14: Saigon – Siemreap Angkor Temples (Breakfast )
An early morning transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap #VN875 09:15/10:15 . This town is our base for exploring the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor, which was the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire from 802 AD to 1350 AD. After checking into hotel, we drive to the archeological area to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. The largest as well as most complete structure of Angkor Wat is not to be missed. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Day 15: Siem Reap - Angkor Discovery (Breakfast )
The jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevado. The grand circuit with Preah Khan, Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples, is also visited this afternoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments. Then trip to lake Tonle Sap, we will have the opportunity to experience a little about "life on the water." Tonle Sap is Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, the size of which quadruples during the rainy season every year. You will board a boat and visit Chong Kneah to see life on a floating villageOvernight at at Sokha Hotel***** in Siemreap
Day 16: Siemreap - Tonle Sap Lake – Flight To Vientiane (Breakfast )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight to Vientiane at 12:00/13:20 . On arrival in Vientiane Capital, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we see the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to Lao’s national icon, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop enroute to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph The Mekong river side is the perfect place to end the day and admire the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane. Arrival transfer to Donchan Palace Hotel ***** in Vientiane
Day 17: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (Breakfast )
Today, we transfer to the airport for the short flight to Luang Prabang QV102 13:10/13:50, which is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. After checking into your hotel, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai, we then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as have a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can browse a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the local people and hill tribes surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight at Amantaka Resort ***** in Luang Prabang
Day 18: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (Breakfast )
Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as exploring the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, we will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is produced. On return, we take a short drive to another small village Ban Phanom, which is famous for its hand weaving. Overnight at Amantaka Resort ***** in Luang Prabang
Day 19: Luang Prabang – Departure (Breakfast )
After breakfast, free at leisure tovisit local market in Luang Prabang till transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of our service
