Tour Itinerary
- Day1Arrival - Hanoi - Overnight Train
Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel in old quarter. Let your guide lead you through the Old Quarter's 36 streets, take a stroll through the back alleys and traditional houses. Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee overlooking the Hoan Kiem Lake at secret garden. Visit the Ngoc temple on the tiny island, before finishing your tour with a water puppet performance.
A room in Church Hotel would be provided for wash and change before transferring to the railway station to catch your overnight train to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa.

- Day2Lao Cai - Cancau/Bac Ha - Sapa - Must Be A Sturday or SundayArrive Lao Cai in the early morning and drive to Can Cau/Bac Ha to catch the Saturday/Sunday market. This lively and colorful market offers visitors a glimpse into the lives of various hill tribe people! Continue to Trung Do where you can see the stilt houses of the Tay people and stop for a chat with a local family.
Cruise along the Chay River admiring the pretty scenery, or if the water levels are too low in the river, we replace with an oxcart ride.

- Day3Sapa - Ethnic encounterTransfer to the small Giay village and enjoy a scenic hike off the beaten track. Hike through lush rice terraces towards a Black H’mong village. Marvel at the cascading paddy fields that cling to the mountainside and take in one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking views before arriving at the home of Ms Cha, a local Black H’mong lady, where you would enjoy a traditional H’mong herbal foot bath! Afterwards head to nearby Lao Chai village where you will learn the art of Batik painting. (Approx: 1 hour driving/ 1.5 hours walking).
For the active one, enjoy a tougher trek of 7 hours to more remote villages. You have an option to immerse yourself with the local culture and stay overnight in a local homestay.

- Day4Sapa - Hanoi
Take a short drive to the quiet valleys and gorges surrounding the village of O Quy Ho. The shallow winding valley sits in the shadow of Indochina’s highest peak, Fangxipan Mountain, and on clear day, enjoy superb views of the range. Away from the major tourist routes, this trek is the perfect escape with outstanding scenery and local cultures! Visit local family and learn about tribal lifestyle, before transferring back to Sapa. (Approx: 1 hour driving/ 2.5 hours walking.)
In the afternoon, take a 05 hour drive back to Hanoi while enjoying fantastic views of the mountainous region of Northern Vietnam.
Optional: Instead of driving back to Hanoi, consider spending the day at leisure in Sapa and return to Hanoi by overnight train. This option is highly recommended if you are traveling with children.

- Day5Hanoi - Halong Bay
Drive about 3h40 hours to Halong Bay and board our overnight traditional junk. After lunch, take a visit to a nearby cave for a lovely view of the bay and to admire its many unique rock formations. As the day wanes, slip into a kayak or swim in the cool water before enjoying a sumptuous dinner under the moonlit sky.

Optional: Replace the drive to Halong Bay via a 30 minute seaplane flight with impressive aerial views over Hanoi.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
- Day6Halong Bay - Hanoi - DepartureGreet the new day with lovely breakfast on sundeck before visiting a beautiful floating village to understand better local way of life of fishmen in Halong bay. Transfer back to Hanoi for your flight back home. End of our service
